As we further approach 2009 i am not hearing hardly any news on New Mods for the 07-08 350Z's (vq35hr's). I almost wonder if all the hype and talk about the 370Z coming out (projected for spring 2010) has slowed down or even stopped production of all HR modification products.... there is really not a lot out there today for the car, and i almost wonder if there will ever be as much as they have for the 03-06's.... i could be far off, but i don't see an SC and have only heard of TT's coming out but no news on whether one has come out yet, and not much in the other bolt ons either - also is there anything for the heads or bottom end internals for these yet at all?... where are all the mods for the HR and are there going to be anymore? Is it limited to intake and exhaust?

Food for thought Mezz:

I believe that with the input from JETPILOT I see now that to get a car modified correctly you need to blow another $30k or so. If I add that to what I paid for my car then I should buy a GT-R right? I think with the intro of the GT-R I believe that it was the exact intention that no one would spend the RIGHT amount of money to modify if the the 07-08 when they could just buy it out of the showroom. and now they could just cut the 2007 version down a year or 2 and let loose the 370Z in 2010. Just something out my dome.

Why don't you sell your mods? Its not like its going to help resell value...

if you wanna wait till i get some money together im never selling my baby. when the time comes, she will be redone paint engine ect, and for ever hold the title of my first car and, first z and, first love. this was my dream car and my dream has been realized. with the task of owning one of the sexiest and fastest cars at my school i have shown and inspired people/kids that with hard work and determination anything is possible. And they all wanna go for a ride and want to drive it. ride yes drive no. Also about 99% of the kids at my school want one.lol

That line right there brought back memories of one of the most epic threads ever created in the 350zee forum. That was so far back before richie even had a Z to begin with/

I would in a month or so once I get some money. Just this week: Flat tire, Weezer pit tickets, tv stand, and taking the Z to the track has left me broke

what do you need? I mean you compain at the lack of mods but what mods do you really need? seems all the bases are covered; intake, exhaust, ecu, forced induction

and with twin intakes the HR lends itself more to the twin turbo setup, piping a single SC or single turbo only serves to make plumbing more difficult

and if you think you need more, try finding mods for a 71 240Z, you got carbs, cams, header and thats about it, you can still mod the crap out of it you just have to actually know what you are doing, anyone building a 400 hp 240z has to knwo a thing or 2 about making power, anyone wanting a 400hp 350z just needs a charge card
