350Z fabric upholstery

This also posted in interiors. I own a 2004 350Z Enthuziast Roadster. The driver's seat bolster fabric is worn. This area is 5-6". Except for this wear, the seats look new. I inquired at a Nissan dealership, local upholstery shops and Nissan USA. It seems this cloth fabric can not be found. Several upholstery shops quoted about $125 for labor, if this fabric can be located. If both seats were worn, I would have the four bolsters redone. Just not wanting to spend money for something in good condition.

When I bought my 2003 the seats were broken down and not comfortable at all and after taking them to Rickie at his upholstery shop he put 1 1/2" of memory foam in the chair back to help re-build the original fullness and 2" in the seat and it changed the seats for me from very hard to sit in to extremely comfortable. I seem to be almost a bit wider than the Ricarro seat frame the chair is shaped like. We tried to bend the wings out on the back rest to make room for a larger frame like mine and bend the seat wings out a bit to make it wider also and in trying we found out the frame is tuff stuff and would not budge at all so instead of fighting the battle that way we reduced how deep the seat and back rest was by filling in the depression so I sat higher than the seat grove and the further out from the backrest and it worked perfect.
