My 2004 350Z Enthusiast Roadster needs to be reupholstered on the driver seat bolster. The cloth fabric is worn thin. Other than this 6 inch area, both seats look new. I have not had any luck with Nissan dealership, local upolstery shops or Nissan USA. I live in Phoenix, AZ

I'll bump this up. I'm swapped 350z seats into my coupe and I'm looking for the same type of fabric, to do my door panels.

Anyone?

See if an auto upholstery shop can change the bolster areas to leather or suede. That would resolve the issue of them wearing thin in the future.

Thanks for quick response. Reupholstering bolsters on both seats would cost more than I want to spend. The worn area is 5-6" . If I can find this fabric-was told $125 to do the repair. It is peculiar this fabric can not be found.

Since the Z is built in Japan, it does not surprise me that it is not available locally.

Look for a similar interior from a salvage lot maybe? Dunno at this point.

With your vin, any dealership should be able to order you just the fabric for the lower part of the seat. I know that we can. The only way that you cant get the material seperate is if you have heated seats.

Thx for the reply noduj. We inquired at a Nissan dealership...even with the vin num..no results. Just a recomendation of an upholstery shop they send customers to. Nissan USA had a consumer affairs rep call. She too was at a loss for where to get the cloth fabric. If the seats were leather, we could get a match. Perhaps I need to contact Nissan in Japan..the language barrier lol!
