Since the 350 is RWD the exhaust system would be designed to fit around all the drive train components in the rear end. Therefore the exhaust hanger locations, piping, and muffler would all be different than the A/C. So the answer would be no, without alot of customizing.

I don't think anyone has done that so you'll probably have to measure for yourself. There's seems to be a lot of room under there, but who knows.

I think he was reffering to the muffler section only, not the entire cat-back. The entire system definitely will not fit the A/C, and that's for sure.

Sounds good PakiCoupe, maybe a video of the car taking off/driving away, or some revving. Thanks.

There are too many difference in intake, tuning, and exhaust that give the G/Z that distinctive sound although that muffler does come pretty close.

and how much did this muffler + the installation at the shop cost you?

if its pretty cheap, i'm considering doing this over a nismo/stillen or w/e... and thats only because i'm on a budget... and i'm feeling the sound it produces lol.

also, if the 350z muffler was able to fit on the a/c after a few modifications, doesnt this also go the same for the G35 muffler?

MORE VIDS PLEASE

I dont think its sounds much like the Z/G. the resonator helps to create that tone, and you have a different resonator. Its not the motor that makes that tone we all want. the exhaust system is the only thing on the car that can make that sound. I havent put an A/M exhaust on the G yet because none can recreate the stock sound.

it should be the same for a Z/G muffler i tried to get me a G muffler but those were kinda pricey and around that time my friend had 04 Z and wanted to sell his so i got it from him and put on for $50!

From what I've read on the forums the 3.5 A/C doesn't have a resonator. I could be wrong though. lol

Paki how does it sound inside the car while driving? Is it any more audible then stock? From your 2 vids you posted, it sounds almost identical to the stock A/C exhaust.....

I like that mod too,if it's not too noisy in cabin ill go buy an old used G/Z resonator

I swear someone on the forums said that the G sound is from the engine, not the exhaust..

well u cant ever have an altima sound like a G! G is tuned differently and even if u get a G muffler cuz thats only thing that'll fit after few modifications its not gonna sound like a G! might b similar but not like a G/Z.

The FWD Morano and FX all have that same note, and they arent tuned much differently than our engines
