350z dash and center console in s13 chassis

I've been wondering if you can replace the s13 dash and center console with 350z's. I know it will not fit perfectly and will need modifying but would there be difficulties as wiring or the width of the dash? think its a good idea?

why not do a custom dash with the Z33 gauges and wiring the mount the gauge cluster to the steering column like on the Z33. but why what a pain in the a** for no accomplishment other than a unique dash that when you sell it you will get no where near what you have involved into it

Actually he just asked a question, albeit an uninformed one. That's a big reason people like myself are on this forum; to ask questions of people who know. Maybe the guy's got a hookup on a free/cheap dash and wanted to know if it had been done before. Sounds reasonable to me. Your response was just asinine. I would be really hard to make it look perfect, I've seen it done in a 240z and it looked badass. I mean if you aren't paying for it start hacking up that Z33 dash and make it work

Sounds like if done right it would look pretty sick, so go for it man, i mean better now then if you had to pay for an entire dash right? No performance gains though, so i really wouldnt spend too much time on it.

If a guy can put a Pontiac GTO interior in a 240sx,you can put a 350Z interior in one.Just hack up the dash to make it fit and get the door panles off the 350 that way theyll line up when they meet.

yeah those are kouki door panels i had to cut them up but im going to fiberglass where i hacked it up a bit. the whole process took a while i had to do lots of fabing up but over all everything is flush now my car came with power windows so im repinning the damn switch so i can roll my windows down. i also started to fiberglass the original s13 dash and putting it in my coupe im still debating on what color i should paint it same color of the car? raspberry pearl?
