any ideas on what the f*ck to do with those 6 3.4" speakers behind the seats? i have componets ordered for the doors. could you put a mid-bass driver in those? someone mentioned co-axial, but i don't think you get enough of anything out of those, especially behind the seat. any advice would be helpful....

Ignore them and concentrate on your front imaging.

If you put anything back there, make them the same brand/model as front if possible so they have the same tone quality as the front. You have to take the entire rear of the car apart to change them out. I would take the money you would spend on rears and put it towards a better front set, subs, amp, dynamat, deck, etc.

If I were you I'd either forget about them altogether or do a little bit to make some baffling and reinforce them to put some 6.5" subs back there.

I'd recommend two of these Tangband 6.5" subs if they'll fit.

Or if you don't want something that was designed for home use you could try these.

If that's what your doing I wouldn't even bother with the 6" subs and just leave them empty. You look like your building a pretty good system so I might sugest something like the JL 500/5. You can run the 100w front channels to the midranges, the 25w rear channels to the tweeters and the sub channel to the sub. The power difference sounds like a lot more than it really is and I've installed a similar set up in a s2000 and it ended up sounding really good after everything was tuned.

You could also use there 450/4 amp and bridge the 2 150w channels for the sub and run the 75w channels to the fronts.

This of course is one of many ways you can run it, I like it just because it's simple and there's only one amp to deal with
