350z Caliper not fiting in original knuckles?(searched..yes)

Yes I've searched and I have not seen this covered so help would be great. Its basic but I am putting on the calipers of the 350z and when mounting I notice the stock bolt was two small to screw on to the 350z and the 350z bolt is too big for the knuckle.
With so many "Big Brake Upgrades" done I thought at some point this would have been covered....or maybe I missed it but trust me I searched. I heard so people have drilled bigger whole to make the bigger bolt fit.

Is that what is mostly done? Has anyone just used the stock bolts (with a little play room) with a nut at the end?
By the way if you are doing this upgrade the stock brake lines plug right in to the 350z calipers....for those that did not no..didnt see that covered either.

From what it looks like you need the bracket for the caliper. The small holes on the caliper are for the guide pins.

Thanks, but I have the complete set but the bolts from the caliper bracket of the 350z does not fit through the stock knuckles.
