350z brakes on s14 240sx se question?

My buddy just upgraded the brakes on his g35 and is giving me the calipers and pads and rotors for free. I want to know will they work on my car. I know of the z32 upgrade but can i use brakes froma z33?

The front brembo brakes from a z33 will work if you switch to bigger lugs on the hub or something like that. I would assume the standard brakes would work with the same modifications. No go on the rears though.

What? No The Z33 Brembo Brakes require a bracket to space them up and out because the Rotor Size is much larger.

Going off of this thread you just need the z32 lines and the enlarged holes.

where did you hear you needed the brackets?

the z33 brembo brakes will work you just have to drill and tap the factory caliper holes to a bigger size so they will bolt up. now the bracket your talking about is for the use of the 350z track brembo rotors with the z32 calipers.

Ahh the makes since then. Although I cant figure out why youd pay $1800 for rotor and calipers that arnt much better than a $360 Brembo rotor/Z32 30mm setup.

I bought a Brembo Big Brake Kit from a G35 owner and it fit on my S14 using the same bracket as the Z32. Im sure your setup will work.

you should post up some pics man.im about to put front z33 brakes on my s13 and i want to know if this works.

if lookleft is right, then all that we need are those z32 brackets.

i've tried this and to put the z33 brakes on a s13 you need big rims like 18's because i mounted my 17's on it and i didn't clear the calipers but i put the z32 brakes on my car front and rear and its simple, the e-brake is simple to make it work and with the z32 brake master cylinder and brake booster it gives more than enough braking power
