I just purchased a 2006 350Z--Track Model with Brembo brakes. I only have 260 miles on the car and I am already having brake dust problems. Has anyone had this problem and, if so, what did you do to remedy this aggravation? I hope this isn't a recurring problem!

The OE brake pads are quite dusty. Actually if you look a lot of newer cars this is becoming a trend. Especially with high performance cars. I see Bimmers with major brake dust issues all the time. It's the price you may to have a pad that works well in a lot of conditions with relatively low noise(the pads seem to be quite sensitive to improper bedding/glased rotors).

You can try a good aftermarket pad. I used a set of Stillen Metal Matrix pads and they stop quite well, but lost a slight edge in initial pedal response to the factory pads. The dust level was quite a bit lower. Well at the very least the color of the dust was much lighter.

In either case the heavy brake dust is quite normal.
