found this, d/l'd it on my 56k, then turns out i dont have the right codec to read .wmv ...and im not computer literate enough to know wat i need to play it other than a new video player...any1 know where i can get like windows media player 8 for free or some other 100% free video player?

Apparently the talk on the other site is that it is a team's sponsered drag car so I don't think it is some kid's ride. He totally blows up that engine and the hole he makes in the block is big enough to put your fist through!

I don't really know if it is EVER really neccessary, but fun yes. There is an older fox-body Mustang that roams around here that has a 400+ shot and he runs 9.xx passes with his automatic, so it is possible to do it safely, just don't use this video as a reference.

The sad thing is that's pretty much the same reaction I had when I blew up my first 2 motor's.... It's hard to explain unless you've been there I guess. I just looked at it as a funny learning experience. On the bright side after I got to pick out funny shaped piston parts I got to go forged internals.

i totally agree, i went from netzero when it was free, to 768k dsl, and now im on cable.

optonline is by far the best. i d/l ed the video in 9 seconds at 1.15MB/sec. highest ive hit so far. my average is 4-500KB/sec

according to cablevision, its capped at 10Mb/sec.

seeing MB/sec in the transfer box almost knocked me off my chair.

i would call it amazing because it was on its way to at least a 10 second 1/4 mile time. Nitrous requires tuning just like turboing does. thats just a personal opinion though

do you guys know something about the car that i don't? it is nice, but other than that it looks stock aside from the stickers, nitrous, and wheels and tires. Its still far from amazing. but of course its my opinion so i don't understand why anyone is trying to argue it. its just an opinion and i have no reason to change it. And yes, i do like my car better. I own a '91 240sx coupe with a ca18det.

What's wrong with a car that looks stock? You are totally entitled to your opinion, but that car is FAR from rice. It looks reasonable and tastefully done on the outside, and it would stomp the heck out of 99% of the cars on these boards.
