I'm sure it is. 2 months ago i converted my 2004 mustang gt from an automatic to manual, but it was expensive. I found an entire kit which included all parts on an ebay auction. The seller was a mustang "junkyard" if you will, which only buys up crashed mustangs and snags parts out. They put together this "kit" which came with everything- transmission, computer, clutch/flywheel (which i didn't use since I did not want to put a used clutch in a car), shifter, boot, etc. Once the kit was shipped to my house, I ordered a new performance clutch/flywheel because I thought it would be kind of dumb to put a used clutch/flywheel in when the transmission is already down. The kit was $1800 to my door, and the clutch/flywheel was another $550. I had a friend do the install, who was a mechanic for a buick dealer for 20 years, so he did it really cheap ($500). So after getting the kit on ebay, new clutch and flywheel, and dirt cheap install of $500, it was 3 grand. It works perfectly, as if the car came from the factory that way, but for 3 grand you could probably just trade your car in and take the loss and buy a different car. Or, you could save up a few more grand and get a supercharger. These numbers are only valid though if you are lucky enough to find all of the parts and get them to your door for $1800 and have a friend who can do the job for super cheap (unless you can do it yourself). Overall, it was a positive experience Good luck.

The 350Z is not a Mustang. Swapping a 350Z transmission will also involve the main wiring harness and ECM, since those are incorporated into the automatic transmission operation. It's not easy and won't be cheap. If you're serious about getting a six-speed, I'd suggest selling your current car and purchasing another Z.
