Hey, I just bought a 350z 2007 TOURING COUPE and I have a problem I think(?). My passenger side window auto downs 5mm when opening and then auto up fine but my drivers side auto downs 20mm when opening but won't auto up. Is this normal? I tried searching the owners manual it it has nothing in there. I read others on here have had similar problems.

Sorry if this has been covered before, I am a new 350z owner. Can anyone help? My car is covered under stat warranty from a used car dealer for another 3 weeks. So do I have a problem with the drivers side window doesn't auto up after opening the door?
Thanks!!

Check the factory service manual found on this site. There is a reset procedure.

Trying rolling the window all the way down with the roll down, then immediately roll it up while holding the window switch in the up position for at lest 5 secs after the window is all the way up.

Thank you guys. I have tried the rolling and holding trick and it doesn't work. Yesterday I took it back to the dealer and it requires $1000 worth of parts and labour to fix. I should be alright as it's covered under stat used car warranty.

I had a similar problem with mine where the window would not always lower when I opened the door. I took it to the dealer three times and spent a lot of money with no success. While playing around with the switch that triggers the up and down window action, I noticed that the switch was sticking a little. I bought a new one and put it on myself. It was around $12 and there were two screws on the door jam that attaches it to the door. Mine works great now. Nissan lists it as a sensor rather than calling it a switch.
