Hey all, thought I would share my latest project with you.

I have been making underpans for the z32 for a couple years and decided to give the Z33 some love also

I am currently in the process of seeing if I can get in to your Fabricators marketplace, Just waiting on a response.

Here are a few pics. Notice the easy access oil filter door

Looks nice...

When you and Greg have everything sorted out, post a price.

What does this do, provide better air flow under the car? Does it restrict air flow into the engine compartment, increasing the temps on pretty much everything in the engine compartment?

FYI the stock splash guards protect the engine bay from debris and improve aerodynamics under the car. Not sure if anybody else has more info on this but i believe it also helps with cooling by keeping air traveling inside the bay, around the engine before it can escape at the back of the block.

Those look great too! I'm curious about the lower offset you have there. The stock piece is pretty much flat. Is there a chance at high speeds that could lift the front of the car up a bit?

This is a great alternative compared to ARC's $600 shroud.

Actually this piece has more ground clearance than the stock piece does.

If you notice the drop is only as low as the "up" on the front part of it.

In theory, this "cavity" should also act as a low pressure area and reduce lift and drag under the car.

It helps better protect the engine from debris, The OEM plastic shield has a habit of getting ripped off the car.

With the OE shield missing all the air that should be directed into your radiator is going under the car instead of through the radiator. This can cause overheating issues.

The air that goes through the radiator gets blown across the engine and then out and under the car mixing with the colder air under the car and theoretically should reduce turbulence.

This has been tested at high speeds with no known issues arising.

Actually, removing the underbody shrouding results in higher under-hood temps.

Those little Japanese guys that designed the car? Yeah - They're smart.

Have you started working on a 370Z version. I have the Nismo 370 and would be interested if the weight is not to high.

I should know for sure soon as I have one out that is going on a APS equipped car.. Do you know if the oil pan sits lower than the cross member itself?

Just got word back that it does fit with the APS oil pan.

Here is a link to the pics of it mounted on a G35 coupe with APS pan.
