hey guysive searched the forums and i found some things on my situation but nothing for sure.
when i open the driver side door the window pops down for the pressure thing and then closes when i close the door. that all works fine. but after the door is closed and the window goes back up, the window slides down just enough so that water can get into the car. it rained the other day and my entire driver seat was soaked. i found this: Quote »1. Turn your car key to the ON position and press and hold the button to move your window all the way down and when it reaches the bottom hold for 2-3 seconds. Then press up and hold it as it goes up and then when it seals hold it for 5-6 seconds. If that does not work:
2. Remove your door trim panel and where the motor is located there should be a small rubber nipple/button poking out. Roll your window all the way down and hold the button for 3-5 secs. Then roll your window all the way up and while holding the Window up button press and hold the nipple/button for 3-5 seconds.
Hopefully this works becasuse both these techniques have worked when I have fixed Altimas, Maximas, 350Z'z, Versa's and Sentra's and Murano's[/quote]im about to go try it but i dont think it will work.
alright i just went outside and tried it after i posted and it did not work.
i called up some dealerships and one of them said the window needs to be synched and another said its the window motors. window motors are covered under the warranty but the synchronization isnt.
any suggestions?
thanks
