So, i wanna hit between 300 and 350 rwhp, i currently have a stock redtop sr with intake and exhaust. and a profec b spec-2

FMICWalbro555cc injectors, or 720cc?Safc IIT28 or gt2871r?

I have access to a dyno...my cuz has lots of friends...with good tuning, can this hit 350?

Do i need the bigger injectors?

And with an s15 t28 do it?

Thanks.

IF thats ONLY what you want on a stock bottom end, here is a BARE BONES setup to achieve that safely

MSD 50lbs / Nismo 550cc InjectorJWT or Enthalpy ECUJWT S3 CamsGreddy RSPL I/C Kit3" ExhaustWalbro PumpBoost Controller (Either EBC or MBC)Cobra MAF/Z32 MAFUR Underdrive Pulley / SilkRoad Water Pump Pulley (for cavatation issues)Greddy Turbine Outlet

Now for turbocharger, you have 5 good options for your goal

GTiR T-28S15 GT28rGT28RSFP Big T28GT2871R .64 (although this is a turbo better suited for 350-390 whp)

(If I had to choose a turbo for 325 whp, I wouldn't think twice about getting GT28RS)

With the above mods and we'll say 16 psi, you should easily be over 300whp with those turbos. Push them all to 20 psi (except the GTiR and S15 GT28r) and you'll easily net at a minimum of 330 whp.

Those HP figures are conservative, as we all know no engines are equal, and there are more mods you could do to help achieve the power at lower PSI levels (such as intake manifolds, extrude honed oem manifold or aftermarket manifold, etc etc) but this is a bare bones answer.

Without a MAF you won't. Add in a z32 maf and yeah, you'll hit 350 with that setup (not with the s15 turbo though) barely and at pretty high boost most likely. 550's will be maxed out real soon though so I'd say get some 650's from deatschwerks. An intake manifold and some cams would help you acheive your goals BIG time as would a reflashed ecu from Enthalpy. JWT is crap for ecus so please, whatever you do, stay away from them.

First off, scrap the GT28rs. It spools later and has less top end than a 2871r! Choose which a/r is for you (if you ever want to go past 350, don't get the .64).

You will not need an SAFC if you get an Enthalpy tune. An adjustable FPR would be good to fine tune the a/f mixture once you get her on a dyno.

I'd get an intake manifold (Freddy) before I messed with cams. When you're ready to pull your head and change the gasket, then worry about cams and the whole 9 IMO.

Cams are so easy to install. Just did mine for the first time and only took 2 hours doing it all slowly. Went with HKS 264 Step 1 for a decent street setup. Phase 2 told me that with proper mods the 2871R .64 can make anywhere from 350-380whp depending on mods.

Sure, the .64's can take you past 350 with every supporting mod avail and a lot of boost (which decreases the life of a very expensive turbo that can't be rebuilt cheaply). I recommend .86 if you want more than 350 since 400whp+ is achievable.

Well fortunatly for me i can get garrets for cost...and since im going for like a 2000-2500 dollar build this time around, hoping for like 350, i think ill go .64, also i want quick spool up as i love mountain roads, and the big balls don't help too much on that stuff. Gotta get fundage up for suspension...

But not to worry, i will be doing my big build later on.

Oh, and im going to be doing a full ferrea valve train, what cams do you guys reccomend with those? this is for when i put on my gt30r, and rebuild my bottom end as a 2.2l overbore.

so heres the complete list?

FMIC-$250Walbro-$99650cc injectors-$289.98Enthalpy tune.....how much will this cost? And i can't find a link to get there.GT2871r .64 a/r-wouldn't u like to know.Z32 Mafs.....wheres a good place to get these.FPR-$199.98

And thanks guys for all your help.

does the valve springs need to be upgraded with HKS 264 Step 1 cams?

HKS Step 1 cams dont require a valve spring upgrade but its always good to have one. .86 has too much lag from what i here.
