I am considering purchasing a 350 Z or a g35 Coup. What are your opinions on which is a better car. The G35 has a longer wheelbase, which I would think would make it a better touring car, and it will have a limited back seat. Tell me what you think

I realy like the Z too but with NO rear seats at all the car is really too limited for me.

I know how often does a single guy use those, but still, even a 911 Carrera has really small back seats that can be used for bags n stuff.

Also the G is just dripping class and beauty.

I would go with teh G-Coupe for sure just for those reasons.

I love the looks of the G35 coupe. As to which one I like better, I will have to drive them both before I can comment.

The G35 coupe is going to be really sweet!

As a primary car, G35 coupe. As a 2nd car (fun car), 350Z.

I'd love to have a 350Z in the garage beside my '92 Q. But need a garage first.... :(

I suspect the G35 coupe is filling the market position that was normally occupied by the Z 2+2.

Just how often do you have someone in the rear seat?

According to Road&Track, they're built on the same platform.

I think you'll turn more heads with the Z just because Nissan is making such a big deal out of it right now. I would suspect you should conider this as if you're in the dealership buying a Z and they have a 2+2 model and a two-seater. For me a Z car should be a 2 seater, I've had a 84' two-seater now since 1984. But keep in mind that having a 2 seater with very limited room often becomes a liability in terms of moving more than one other person, if you can live with that, the Z looks very cool!

The G35 coupe exudes luxury, high craftsmanship, status and beauty. Personally, I would take the G35 over the Z350 just because I know that a lot of my family members and friends would like to ride it it, which the rear seating of the G35 (no matter how uncomfortable) is better suited for the occasion.

I think just the opposite. I notice cars that are wild but not overly publicized. I think they get more attention than the 300z will in the long run. The 300z fanfare will wear off and the G will make its silent statement long after.

As for me, I'm starting a sinking fund, and will buy either one that's available when my savings and their depreciation reach a meeting point.

This group is an exception, most people are not sure what the heck an Infiniti even is, but everyone is talking about the Z. Sorry but I'd lay money out that a 350Z would turn more heads...that said I'd like to have either car if I had the money and room in garage of which I have neither....
