It's a drivers race. The 0-60 for the HR 350Zs are 5.2. The 0-60 for the Hemi is 5.8 with AWD.

The HR came in 2007 and newer Zs. It is rated at 306 with a 7,500 redline.

I ask because I have the 300 and going to purchase a 350 hopefully soon. I just don't want to feel like I'm buying a slow 2 seater. As for my 300 it's heavily modded with ported heads, milled deck, big cam, cat-less mids, programmer, exhaust, intake, underdrive pulley and a few other secrets. My 0-60 is now around 3.9 seconds.

After reading some posts from various places I'm sure I can make the 350 faster than my 4 door.

This is what I want to do when people what to compare a 2 seater and a 4 door.

but to answer your question,

You are not going to buy a slow 2 seater sports car.

what kind of numbers were you putting down in the 300, you think? (power-wise)

the z is a good bit lighter & with the sportier suspension, should feel alot more able through the corners, but straight-line probably wont be noticibly different if not worse, stock vs. your mod'd 300... hell, your 0-60 alone should have been plenty to know that, goin in. time to get with the moddin, eh?

If its the v6 300c theres no way. The hemi one there is a possibility. Friend of mine has an srt-8 magnum, and those pack an ok punch.

*SRT-8 magnums can be had for as low as 20k

Great if you're a musician hauling around instruments, amps, cabs etc.

With the Z, just one guitar with a hardcase and 85% of my cargo space is depleted.

Yes, because its totally outlandish for people compare the Z to an Evo or an STi.

just to save face, i was talking about these incredible hulks of the sedan world. though, from what im seeing online, they dont weigh in at quite as much as i would have expected.

Honestly fellas any time I end up at a light with some dude in a 350 or 370 or 240 0r rx8 etc they all want to race this big a** family car of mine. You might ask why compare them, then hell why do you all want to race against them? I get people revving on my so many times it's ridicules hence the reason why I modded my car to smoke everyone.

I must admit that it is really fun taking the joy out of some younger kid when he sees my 4500 pound family 4 door kick his butt. Anyway I'm hitting my mid life crisis and now really debating on getting a 350 or a vette. The corvettes are sicking fast and handle really well but it screams mid life crisis. The 350 is just a cool looking car that I think I can get away with.

My car looks fairly stock from the outside and I think that's what's getting people to try and race me. I have some pictures of me working on the car with my engine almost out of the bay putting in my goodies. I'm not sure if that's what you were looking to see or not but here they are. http://www1.snapfish.com/slide...83608/ ... e...83608/

That really means nothing. I've seen plenty V6 vehicles and even some 4 bangers that will beat some V8 cars.

Idk vettes are pretty sick and fun to drive. But my bros has been in the shop a whole month this year. His car has 34k miles. If money isn't a huge deal I would get a 911. As a driving enthusiast thats the best thing for the money
