Sorry I was so brief. Here are the mods.

Bone stock 91 240 KA24DE. 115,000 mile original motor never been touched. AC still working.PhatKA-T.com turbo kit (SC 50 turbo)PhatKA-T.com fuel systemPhatKA-T.com intercooler kitPhatKA-T.com engine management (AEM EMS)Apexi exhaust.

Thats about it. No underdrive pullies, no lightweight flywheel, No lightweight wheels.

Mustang MD1750 in ground dyno @ Sound Performance

The AEM is working like a champ. Everything is working perfectly. We broke 300 RWHP on the first full pull (5th pull we made) and made a total of about 9 pulls so far.

Torque is a little low right now (345 @ 4100 rpms) but we are still working on the timing and fueling maps. I will expect torque to come up a bit.

Tomorrow we will hit it again and get it really dialed in. This car should be an animal on the street.

those numbers are awesome. And thats with a Mustang Dyno. I would be happy with that power number and that boost level if I owned the car.

The plug and play versions of AEM EMS are not available yet. This is a Honda plug and play unit that We modified to work with the 240. It WILL work on the OBDII cars but will probably not run all the emissions equiptment. We deleted the EGR, Swirl control, Evap on this car.

well im obdI, im sure you were jsut saying that for other people. i dont really care about the emissions stuff, blocked egr and removed cat. any dates on when the plug and play version will be availible? i would definitly dish out that kind of money for a plug and play version.

I doubt he really cares...I'm guessing he's building a bulletproof one right now.

He does work at Sound Performance...they know what they're doing there.

There are several KA's running similar power levels on stock internals.. :\

It's not a big deal if you do it right.

By the way, Ivan, what did you end up doing regarding the timing curve?

We started out with timing at about 20 degrees full vacuum. At zero vac about 28 degrees. At one bar about 20 degrees. Everything in between was interpolated.

This was a bit agressive for 93 octane and the efficency of this setup. Timing was backed down a couple degrees under boost.

Then a nice timing curve for RPM was brought in and everything is looking good. To really dial in the timing, I would need to spend another day on the dyno with an EGT gauge and watching KS voltage. This will happen when everything is back on the car after building jigs.
