i hooked up my pc speaker outputs to the surround sound , just to listen to the engine ,

i actually thought about this ,

BMW - Little displacement ... but TT = 300 HP .... 300+ Torque

G - High Displacement .. N\A ..= 330 HP .. 260-280 Torque ... hmmm lol

Add a Custom Greddy TT kit to that G ...

Too bad they don't make it AWD. I can't see myself to buy one without it. I need it here in Canada. I'd be the first to go to the dealer and put the money down for it.

hehehe

I know if I put my hands on any type of sport car I just give her. If it is my friends I always tell him or her what I will do to the car." You still let me drive?" They usually do. Except my wifey. She is pissed when I take the Focus out. I keep telling her it is just a focus. But she loves that thing.I tried to put her in another car than ford. We went thru I don't know how many small cars try this try that. She always I don't like this or that. OK focus it is. I actually had no problem at all with the old one(2005). Only oil change and service. Even the brake was good also tires too. They were pirelli.

I know it is ford I actually told her to wait 2 months and get the altima coupe she said It is a new product I don't want to go to the dealer with everything. Figures. I would of been a lot happier with the altima.

This video didn't really show the infiniti dominating the bmw like I thought it would. It really seemed like overall he was more impressed with the power and refinement of the BMW. So the BMW over heated. Infiniti's are not problem free either. Don't get me wrong, I love the G37 and I think they have a lot of potential, but you can't argue and say that the BMW isn't impressive.

Nobody did. I think we all know the BMW is a class A car in performance. But they going to have reliability problem as we discussed this on the other thread. The quality of the German engineering is not there anymore. That is going to affect the whole BMW not just the 335. So far we only have minor issues. They can't say that.

Ok, because so far in everything I have read on this forum, just made it seem like the G37 was far superior to the BMW. They are pretty close though. A turbo car with an overheating problem? No way!!!!!!

Only thing is better so far with g37 did not die on the track and the guy was very impressed with the brake. 335 has lots of potential. tweak the turbo and you gain more power. Probably $1500 for a chip and it is going to fly. But I would be scared to do it with 335. They are already have problems what if you tweak it. They would just void the warranty. That would suck big time. Also I am not a big fan of the interior of the 335. I think it is realy poor craftmanship. Bmw interior looked the same 5 years ago. You can't do that when the competition keep upgrading their cars.

the 335 is TT , but it cant produce more HP than the displacement of the G??

i say for that extra 8 grand your saving buying a G , buy a custom TT kit for the G .. BAM .. theres your TQ AND HP right there

The G37 cost 8k less...put 8k in mods on the G37 and then do another comparison...

Personally, I don't want "refinement". I consider the G35/37 a sports car, and a sports car should be about performance first.

Cool vids! Thanks for the link.

I used to be a fan of BMW , but now looking back into the "REFINED" interior ... come on ,

the interiors been the same for years now , same old dark red\brown lights , same sound system, Comparing the G to that , the G is constantly changing , from 2003 - 2008 theres been so many changed to the interior ,

I wonder if BMW is using water-cooled turbos. Seems like a lame problem to occur given that turbocharger problems have been largely resolved so that these kind of issues should not be occurring. If they are using oil-cooled turbos, expect some coking issues to occur as well...

im thinking the problem is now resolved because the new 335I's are released with an oil cooler. well i just have to say sucks for people who bought it and now probally having it sit in the dealership for a day or 2
