So i just installed my 2" lift and it actually got me up like an extra 3.5" but anyways my tires now look kinda skimpy per say and i was thinking about getting 15/10inch rims and putting 33/12.5/15's on it will these fit without rubbing or no?

The 15" rims won't fit, the calipers are in the way. You need to go with at least a 16" rim.

Ok so I'm not too worried about the rims and usually 15 are stock on 96-99 but I wanna know about the 33/12.5 tires..and if they will rub....

My bad, I thought you had a 2nd gen R50. You will probably have to do some trimming of the wheel wells. I'm not sure if there are any NICO members with 33's yet.

i have 33s on my R50. depending on the backspace on your wheels, you may or may not rub. there's only 1 way to find out.

33x12.50 is a wide tire.

Well I'm not too worried about the 33's but the wideness would that rub on hard turns at all?

You'd either want to get wheels with the proper backspacing or get wheel spacers. With that tall and wide of a wheel (on an R50) you're probably going come in contact with the struts.

Even with the proper backspacing?

with the proper backspacing, you will not rub the struts. the issue then is rubbing in a turn because as you push the wheel/tire further outward, you increase the chance of the tire rubbing the fender or frame.

are you set on 33x12.50s? if you're buying them new, i would recommend a 33x10.50 on a 7-8in rim. arguably better traction off road, better mpg, better highway performance, and the tires are typically cheaper.

if you get the tires in a metric size, they're even cheaper.
