I'll hopefully get the graph posted up here soon. 328.2hp and 313.8ft lbs. That's at about 17psi with no tunning (just a baseline map) and no cams. Also running a fairly cappy exhaust. My goal is 380-400rwhp which looks very realistic.

Hey Paul are you using a internal or external wastgate. I recently talked to cheapturbo.com about the GT25R with the .86 A/R and they said it would be better to get a external wastegate but was wondering your opinion on it.

yah, internal wastegates are restrictive and because the dump into the turbo extention they mess up flow too.

EDIT: or something like that :D

328rwhp? That rocks! Anything near 400 will be insane.

I was looking into that turbo also. Could I bother you for some specs? Or maybe a link? Thanks for any info.

Its an HKS GT25R .86 A/R I believe. Search on fresh Alloy for posts by PSI240sx and the rest of the florida gang. (secret services)

BTW (sorry I'm late to this) I have the internal wastegate. 328 is just a starting point, I will make 400rwhp (trust me).

If anybody can host the graph I'll post it, it looks really nice.

Hey Moving, or Jake.... your using the HKS GT25R.. would the gerrit model by same name and seemingly same specs be a quality equivalent? Hell I'd venture to say.. is the HKS version just a re-labeled Gerrit GT25R.

Wow, congratulations! That must be sweet. But my question is: How bad is the turbo lag? Does it take away from the overall performance of the car?

Moving..... what kinda of "crappy" exhaust do you have? 3", 2.5" all the way back? Any cats?

sorry Jake I didn't mean you HAD one, I just thought you might know.. see cheapturbo.com sells the Gerrit GT25R for like 1,089.00 seems to be exact same as the HKS GT25R .. they are , right?

Mine is a garret 25R

There are dyno's everywhere down here. That one was done up in Atlanta, down here there are at least 3 dyno shops in Orlando, and another 3 in Tampa. Titian motorsports and Garage advance are the 2 I like down here in Orlando.

i wish i new about that before i bought my s15 turbo like a year ago. Oh well, they are pretty much the same (mines just smaller), so ill just deal for now. I dont want to kill myself anyway (me=never driven a turbo car), sean said your car is crazy to drive.
