when I bough the 320 it had no engine or gear box but I have this gx in my shed the 1200gx is the high performance of the era (60s) (83hp) rated from factory they came in early sunnys to compete with mini 1275 cooper s

Nice engine. Did you rebuild it yourself? Is it an A12 or A15? You mentioned both engines in other posts.

I am in marsden, I have both engines but I prefer the A12 block have a better cam

You'll have a tough time with that oil pan setup.  That's not going to clear the cross rod or the crossmember in a 320.  I've seen A series engines in 320 so there must be other oil pan/pickup combinations for them.

this engine is the one sitting in the 320 and the oil sum is the custom one that I made for this purpose also the extractors I'll send more pictures

I had an A12 in my first 320. All that was done to the sump was a small amount was cut out for rod clearance and an oil cooler was put in to get the capacity back.

If that's the case, then I guess an A series engine doesn't sit as low in the chassis as the E1 or J series.  I had just noticed how flat the front of the sump is on my J16 is compared to the front of the sump on your A12.
