Where the hell can I buy a 3 foot 1/2' socket extension?

Not even eBay has one. I need to replace the one I broke so I know they make them.

Any help would be awesome. Plus I’ll probably get a good source for tools in the process.

TIA

How about special order from sears? Or hang out at a local Dealership and buy one off the Snap-On guy when he comes around. Its simpler to ask the mechanics when he comes around and have the cash ready, because those guys will have stuff like that on them.

edit: why? you broke one working on the transmission or what?

Snap-On P/N SX36

36" length 1/2" Drive Knurled Extension

Definitely look up the number to your local snap-on, mac tools, or matco rep. They're travelling salesmen, work on commission and can use every sale they can get.

The yellow pages will be the first place to look for a local rep office, which can supply you with a rep's mobile number, who can then arrange to meet you. You'll probably do best to meet him at a regular stop on his weekly sales route.

Extensions are the solution to every bolt you have trouble getting to. I spent 4 hours one night removing a pathfinder 4x4 transmission and my friend dropped every bolt in 2 hours using 3 feet of extensions and swivels... its the master Nissan Tech solution to everything :).
