30K maint questions

Hi all,
Hopeing you have some more info to share. My 2008 RWD has 30K miles. I am not about to pay the dealer $900+ for this service! Robbery...
I have read the manual and several posts and still a little unsure about the ATF automatic transmission fluid change / differential oil change. I see you change that every 30K miles in the PREMIUM MAINTENANCE section, but never change them in SCHEDULE 1 or SCHEDULE 2 Maint.
I can do everything else on the lists and can get the ATF fluid changed for $100-$125...

Do you all change your ATF fluid (or have it changed) every 30K or ?
Differential oil change - do you have that changed also, or do most people follow Schedule 1 or 2 and not change these fluids without cause?

$900 is not a good value.

My 08 is coming up on 30K. I purchased air and cabin filters online and installed them myself. I will have the dealer do an oil and brake fluid change because I am lazy. BTW, Nissan doesn't recommend transmission fluid flushes. I will do a drain and fill myself on the autobox and rear diff at 60K if I still have the car.

Thanks -great Q&A there... No - $900 is very very far from a good deal!

This EX has had the cabin and engine air filters changed, oil changed and new tires (rotate not needed). Just trying to figure out if the ATF and Diff fluids actually NEED a change... sounds like it is not needed, but a drain and fill wouldn't hurt for the ATF @ 30Kish and the Diff can wait even longer?
Didn't even think about the brake fluid. I guess a brake fluid change should be considered also at 30K?

I would NEVER do a flush or have it flushed... only a drain and fill.
