303 Protectant - tips for use

Hi, after reading the many posts on the 303 Aerospace protectant, I bought a bottle and have been using it on the interior of my Rogue.

Unfortunately, during the first pass, there were some spots I missed and the finished is now a little blotchy. Any advice to correct for this. Its been a couple months and the finsih has faded and blended some, but still not completely even.

Where did you find this product except ordering it online?CT, Napa, etc...?Never seen it in a store, but did not look hard until now.

I found 303 at Canadian Tire.

ahhbeebee I can only suggest re-applying and making sure all areas are covered.

I got mine at NAPA, it was cheaper than Canadian Tire.

It did improve when I tried to reapply on surfaces missed, but it seems like it would only take up so much. I'll wait some more, allow the finish to fade a bit, then reapply evenly.

Try this: Spray the surface with 303. Saturate a small sponge with 303 and use this to distribute the product evenly. Let it 'soak' in for a several minutes, then wipe with a clean dry cloth.

Hint: Use microfiber cloths (not terry cloth or towels) for detailing as they leave no lint.

Find a local kayak/canoe store and you'll find 303.

I've also seen it at d!ck Sporting Goods in the floating boat section.
