I live in the mountains of western North Carolina where whitewater rafting is big. My boys are now big enough to raft, so I bought 2 nice whitewater rafts (and paid more for the big one than I paid for my 1990 Q45 years ago).
These whitewater enthusiasts are a fanatical cult not all that dissimilar from us Q45 Forum folks. And they take care of their boats like (some) of us take care car of our cars - serious upkeep. And they swear by a product named "303 Aerospace Protectant." They spray their $4,000 rubber rafts with this regularly, and to read the product instructions, the manufacturer makes some serious claims about extending the resilience and live span of all rubber and vinyl products. They also claim this is the best product ever for treating tires and other car rubber (e.g. suspension bushings).
303 is about $60 a gallon from Summit, Auto Parts Warehouse, or ebay. I bought some for my rafts, and sprayed the tires on my three q45's (only 2 weeks ago). Has anyone had experience with this product? Is it really that good?
