302 in a 240sx help please

im lost as fu**. im dropping a 302 in my 240sx. and i need some info on what i need to do with the suspention cause ive heard it'll rip apart stock 240sx axles and i need help with the wiring. cause i hate wires and i need help with the mounting of the motor. i just need any info anyone has. it would be much appreciated and you would heklp me a lot. and i shall praise you for help

What year and model is your car. As far as the axles, You will be fine. The stock 302 (ford?) doesn't make that much HP.

they make install kits for ls motors, try to see if there is one for a 302 somewhere... or just make your own mounts, get a driveshaft shop to do a custom one piece and get the wiring done by someone who knows what there doing

do you have the entire engine harness uncut for the 302? and is it 5.0 (efi) or carbed? the mounts shouldnt be to hard if you know what your doing. i mean there pretty much a block that fits in a block. Try searching yahoo and google. I'm just starting the same swap and yahoo has been amazing on the fab procedures. and are you talking about suspension or drivetrain? cause the axles arent exactly suspension. BTW get good progressive rate springs before you start driving on the bumpy streets of prepare to buy a new bumper. your adding almost 200lbs to the front of a car stocks just wont work right. summit racing sells a nice set of eibach's for i think 200 but dont quote me on that. my emails [email protected] email if you need anything else

there is one question about this whole 302 well in my case a 5.0 HO if i use a front sump from an older model 302 the non roller motors (pre 87) do i still have to cut the pan? and also does anyone know where to find the wiring diagrams for the bodies and engine bay for the s13 dohc hatch? my damn advanced auto and autozone and any other parts store doesnt carry 240 manuals. i know its insane and in all states should be illegal but its true. any help other then ordering one for an insane price off line? seems like the cheapest ive found was 40-60 shipped. i mean i need one but damn.

how far have you got on your swap? i am doing the same thing. my buddy has already started his 302 swap into his bmw. and he has the same problem we do , as fas as mounts and oil pan. remmember its needs more oil then the kade i seen some people use a duel sump and trim both sides just alittle so they can keep the oil volume.
