Hey guys, ive been on the forum for a while but im usualy in the 240 section, i have a ca coupe. I used to have an 87 turbo z. Anyway back on the subject, my buddy wants to get a z32tt (hes trading his 67 mustang for it cant afford a car like that at this age) and he wants to make it a highway car. He loves the styling of the car and the power, but hes not sure about the reliabilty, and he knows its a pain in the *** to work on. Are there anythings in specific we should look for in the car, any commen problems. and in general will this make a god highway car.

they are excellent grand touring cars, if he gets one thats been well maintained he should have verry little trouble

as for the 67 stang, why can't he afford it? swap in an electronic distributor and it should be pretty trouble free as well, the stock brakes, steering and suspension all really suck but hey thats the price you pay, or you spend the coin to update it

My Z with stock suspension drvies better than my integra with upgraded suspension. The z is very smooth.
