This maybe a stupid question and may have been asked before but I am in the market for a toy car. No I'm not a kid, almost too old or souping up a car but I want to anyway. I have a few different cars in mind but have a question specific to the 240sx. Can a 300zxTT motor be swapped into a 240sx?? I love the Skyline GT-R but don't want the hassle of learning right hand drive or more importantly the expense and hassle of getting one here. Just wondering if anyone has heard of the swap and maybe if anyone knows what kind of task is at hand?? A project website would be perfect! Anyway, first time poster so please no flames. Just a simple question looking for a lengthy answer <grin>. If this is not a moderate swap any suggestions to modding the 240sx?? To compare, the cars that I am thinking about are:
-Talon TSI G2-Eclipse GSX G2 (I know mechanically the same car)-Stealth TT-300ZX 2+2 TT (I know engine swap to make it TT)-240SX (Mostly because it has the Skyline GT-R look)-Supra Turbo MK3 (Mostly because the MK4 are outrageously expensive).
Anyway, I know the last part of the post may not be on topic but just curious what people think. Thanks to all that read the post!!

I did do a search but was only able to come up with 4 or 5 posts that had anything to do with it and mostly that it is very difficult. I understand that, but if you can read, I asked for anyone that maybe did a project site with some useful information. Most of the searched threads all got off topic and non informative. Thanks anyway though, oh forum master!

Swapping in the VG30DETT is a bad choice, go with an RB series. VG30 is more work than an RB (RB still a lot of work), but the VG30 has its problems, first the plumbing on the VG is a mess, Its also a V6, personally, I like inline sixes, but thats just me. RB is a much better engine in my opinion, look into swapping a RB26 or RB25 into a 240sx, then you even get the powerplant of the skyline. VG30 is a good engine, just not as good as the RB, IMO.
