Just curious... Why would you? I don't think the gear ratios are better chosen and the sr transmission is plenty strong...

i had a customer(i'm a carsalesman) who once owned a sr20det powered 240 and he told me this. he happens to be the u.s. branch manager of apex integration.

weak transmission or not, how much better are the 300ZX ratios than the JDM SR transmission?

Both bellhousings are made of aluminum...So they are the same. The ratios are different, and why would you want to change them? I think Nissan can do a better job at figuring out gear ratios than any of us can...
