hi i have a 1991 s13 with an sr etc. i heard that 300zx axles are considered an upgrade when installed on a 240sx. i was wondering if anyone has done a write up or how-to set up on how its done and what is needed to make it work.My main question is : I have a s13 with a 6 bolt axle pattern.I want to keep my pumpkin or differential because i just got a kaaz lsd installed in it .Is there anyway i can keep my differential and get any axles stronger then my stock ones.. If so what are they from?

Ok here is the deal, the 300zx TT and the Q45s come with the R230V rear end.. The axles are stronger.. But have the 5 bolt pattern..

The 300zx NA come with the R200V similar to the 240sx.. I assume the axles are stronger as well.. But watch out because these have a 5 bolt pattern out put shafts..

I think the J30 axles look befier as well, and u need the 95+ because they're 6 bolt pattern just like the 240sx..

The only thing i am unsure of is, if these axles will fit your current rear HUBS.. I know the J30s and probably the 300zxNA will..

But i know for a fact the Q45s axles wont fit on the stock 240sx hubs.

So you will need..1) Q45 driveshafts2) The output shafts on the Q45 differential, to press it in your LSD i assume..3) The Q45 HUBS, due to the fact that the TT and Q45 use 30 spline out put shafts..

But then again IMO you really don't need to upgrade your rear end, not unless you are seeing 500-600++ And creating lots of torque.. I assume ur running sr ... nyways that's if u ask me..
