Its a t25 style. Anyone tried it? Should be a little better than stock turbo. I did a search on this forum and the only 300zx or z32 stuff that shows up is MAF.

Thanks!

You may as well keep what you got. It's not worth it because it's still a T25.

Isnt the ca one more of a t22 on the compressor side? I'm fairly new to ca tech. Would it make a good replacement for a bad stock turbo?

Mostly I'm just curious. Good to know what fits where and what size hammer I will need to make it fit.

I'd leave it alone. You don't know (or maybe you do) how it will bolt up unless you have the 2 sitting side by side. Not worth the hassle since stock ca t25s are cheap anyway. I have one, want to buy it?

I believe the Z32 turbos are identical to the SR20det T25 turbo and yes it will bolt on.

Personally If I want to swap turbos to bigger, I would go with at least a T28, unless you are getting the Z32 turbo for free and it is in a better shape than your T25.The Z32 turbos usually blow seals around 120K km due to abusing these cars.

The Z32 Turbo's use a 4 bolt O2 housing as opposed to the 5 bolt on our cars. You'd have to use a Z32 O2 pipe and possibly build a custom downpipe, and that turbo was designed to run 1/2 of a 3.0L motor which = 1.5L. That is also 1/2 of a 300Hp motor wich equals 150Hp. I'm sure that it will probabally bolt up to your stock CA manifold, but from there it would all just be headache. Get an SR T25 or better.

absolutely ture about the O2 housing, they do use 4 bolts compare to the CA which is 5 bolts, but the O2 sensor on the 300zx is identical to the Ca and it will bolt on, as I am using a z32 O2 sensor on my Ca.

I stand corrected. Thank you Rafi. I'll fix it now...

Z32 turbo is actually a T25/T22 combo... not a true T25
