Since this get's asked a lot and there are over 15 posts asking this question via search, I am hoping the search engine will pick up this title, since there are not a lot of YES answers blah blah...

YES it Works.USDM 300zx(z32) NON Turbo Speed Sensor work with RB25DET Transmission in relation to the 240sx (S13) Speedo

The RB25DET Transmission coupled with a USDM 90+ 300ZX NON-TURBO Speed Sensor WORKS. IT will work with both SOHC and DOHC gauge cluster speedos, the Speedos themselves may need slight adjustments.

To adjust the speedo, remove the gauge cluster, remove the 4 bolts for the speedo, on the back of the speedo face there is a little blue box with adjustment screw, adjust in slight increments until it's just right.

been wondering for a while, especially before I drop ~$80 on this s***.

How much adjustment are we talking about after the sensor change though? How off would you say it was? like ~5mph?

Right now my speedo is reading exactly half of what my actual speed is.

I couldnt tell you exactly I used my conzult to test and calibrate everything and then switched to a J30 Speedo and Tach for even better readings.

But I do know the Z32 non turbo speed sensor into a RB25 transmission reads correctly. At least for my setup it did

Does anyone know if it is possible to simply adjust the pot on the back of the S13 speedo to read the RB25 sensor signal? Just curious seeing as the pot on the DOHC tach basically adjusts to divide the signal by 2ish. I just don't wanna spend the 170 bucks I'm about to spend on a new Z32 speed sensor...
