Hello everyone.
I own a manual 1990 n/a 300zx and the other day it wouldn't turn off?
The car still runs with the key out of the ignition. I have checked all the fuses and relays and they are all fine. I did some research on the net and came to the conclusion that it is either the starter relay or the ecu. When I went to go replace the starter relay behind the front wheel fender it isn't there. Maybe the owner before me bypassed it I'm not sure.
Has anyone ever had this problem?

I don't know how to fix it... but if you can get it to run without gas you will be on to something!

That's the trouble with today's youth...incomplete knowledge of what to do after you've stolen the car!

Its likely the ignition switch itself.
