300zx white smoke running rich

i have white coming out of my tail pipe and it smells very rich. Anyone know whats going on? any help please thanks jonathan

White smoke is generally coolant or condensation. A very rich condition is going to produce dark black smoke.

White smoke usually isn't a bad thing, unless you have a lot of it, which then it could be coolant, which would most likely be due to a blown headgasket or cracked block. The smoke you have to watch out for the most is if the smoke has a blue tint to it.
