300zx whining coming from the rear of car.
i have a 89 n/a whining coming from the rear of the car. What is the main problems with rear of car. It has 193000 miles on i plan on fixing it all. I think it could be the wheel bearings. but is there a way to tell if its the inner or outer. Where is the cheapest place to get them if it is. I know cars but to good with the rearend stuff.

sounds like the diff is worn out,id upgrade to an r200 assembly and maybe new ring gears,also replace journal bearing i think thats what there called...

ti already has an r200, they've been in every z cr from 81 till 90 then n/a z32's and all z33's they also came in some 77-80 models
anyhow, kinda a vague discriptions, I'd start by just giving everything a visual checkup, look for signs of play at the wheel bearings and at the pinion bearing, make sure everything is tight and clean, check the trans and diff fluid, not a bad idea to go ahead anc change them if you don't know when they were last done
