ok ive just done na z brakes all the way around and five lug swap. the only problem i have us the front wheels rub on the struts. im pretty sure there na wheels, with 225/50r/16's. but its the wheel rubbing!!!! has anyone else had this problem? i thought they bolted on with no clearance issues? ive tried swaping the rear wheels to the front but it dosent help. are spacers my only hope? because i really dont want to run any.

Yea for some reason the NA wheels don't fit at all on the front. They work fine in the back but the fronts won't clear my coilovers with a 15mm spacer. I mounted them thinking they would bolt right on, but the smell of burning rubber and then seeing that they took the paint off the spring is pretty convincing evidence that they don't fit.

they wont clear with a 15mm spacer?!?!? thats weird mine only need like 3-4mm to clear the strut. see whats whats got me mad is that if you search this it seams that no one has this problem or they dont post about it and theres a lot of misleading info. infact i was looking at a tread here on nico about wheels that clear the brakes and stuff and there was some one that said that they cleared and had a pic of them on a s13 hatch. i have a coupe but its all the same $h!t so it sould work no prob.

well sense apparently no one has run into this issue before ill post this so anyone else that runs into this problem. to make the z wheels clear on the front just get some 5mm hubcentric spacers and you'll be good to go. now this is for stock struts. i have now idea about coilovers. right now im running some washers that equal 3.6mm and it now clears fine but that will be replaced with the 5mm spacers that i ordered this comming up week.im still confused as to why some people dont have clearance issues and some do. i guess its how you go about the 5lug conversion. i did conversion hubs, maybe thats my problem. anywho my problems solved even though i hate the idea of spacers.
