I have a 1995 300zx na. I just got some 17x8.5 wheels. Offset 30. The thing is I am a broke high school kid so I can't afford to lower my z. Will it look bad if I just put the wheels and stock ride height ? And what size tires would you suggest to run ?

The question is. Do you want a stretch tire or something that actually fits.

Cause if memory serves me right.. 235 or 245 45z would fit our cars for overall size match on our rims so it doesn't tamper with the Speedo.

Our cars would benefit more from a actual fitted non stretch tire more especially save the lip of the rim if you have trouble parking along a curb and will give you better grip.

As for lowering props for not going to the scapegoat of cutting springs. Personally I'm aiming for new stuts and shocks with lowing springs around 800-950 from carid that's with bilsteines

If I put the appropriate tire, will it look bad on stock suspension? Because I plan on lowering it but as of now I don't have money to go lower

Personally who cares. It's your car bro. She is the diamond of your eye. To give you an idea go on Instagram if you like look up zociety_ and search z32 and just look around at the various pages. Personally I don't think so but idk what the rims look bad. If anyone says crap just say atleast I got something man. Our ladies take time and money especially after market stuff

Agreed with Z, put the tires and wheels on. Its your car, who cares. Besides with the correct sized tires, it will not lift the car up, so it will be the regular stock height.

245/40/17 will get you about the stock size and no stretch. 225/45/17 will get you a stretch on those size wheel.

Use this to calculate the correct size tire you need for larger wheels.

Save money on inexpensive tires, but get the right size. I like a little stretch, im running 235/40/18 on 9.5" wide wheels, +15 all around. But with your width and offset you wont need a stretched tire to tuck.

Save up and buy adjustable coilovers, dont waste money on lowering springs if you plan to keep the car for any amount of time. You also dont have to spend a thousand dollars on coils to get a decent set. i have Tein fully adjustable coilovers and i love them, if i remember correctly i paid $700, but there are other brands that are less expensive.

When i was going through what you're doing right now i always wanted someone to tell me exactly what i needed so here's my advice; 235/45/17. cheap tires, you're in high school. Dont spend $800 on tires like i did. And if it helps i did my wheels, tires, coils, and camber arms all at the same time over 2 days. I'm a broke collage kid so i know how you feel.

Zedx makes a very valid point. If this owning one of these cars has has taught me anything is. Be reasonable. Champagne cost is all fine if you have the budget and income for it.. But if you have a pbr income and budget don't get champagne. Hah.
