front hubs off what? definitely can collect the needed parts then convert. not a smart idea to do 4 in the back and 5 lug in the front, that would look hella gay.

the I30 is front wheel drive, same thing as a maxima. so no go on that.

try seaching j30 half shafts or cv shafts also.

also to 240tunerguy the 5 bolt axles will only fit if your diff has 5 bolt flanges to match.

that sucks that yall cant find a good deal on shafts.... keep up the search though

and as far as i know, the rear hubs from the 300zx and j30 will work on the 240sx perfectly, i have 300zx ones on mine.the front hubs from the 300zx wont work at all, totally different designj30 front hubs need modifcation to work ie change bearing, remove abs ring, and grind the spindle shaft down for them to work.ive been rolling some ebay coversion hubs for the front and havent had the first problem and they only cost 150 for the set new. they also came with longer studs. your gonna pay 100 just for 2 new bearings and another 20 for 2 seals for the front hubs. 30 dollars more and you have new spendles with longer front studs already in them. my 2cents on that

the dude is selling me only the front hubs. im not planning on doing the 5 lug conversion any time soon. but in the mean time i can have the front and save them and then get the rear later.

but what im saying is that itll be more cost effective to just save and buy the conversion hubs later then to modifiy j30 ones. if thats even what he's trying to sell you.you said $40 for the hubs $100 for the bearings $20 for the sealsgrand total $160 and its a jigger rigged peice that might work and last.

or you can do like me and other people and spend $150 for the hubs when you need them and save your self the headach and $10 in the long run.

as long as they say theyll fit 92-941/2 they will work. late 94 and up use the same 6 bolt as the 240sx. best bet though is 92-93 those for sure will work.

i'm going thru this same problem right now. I bought a 5bolt j30 diff and axles in tennessee recently. turned out the axles were 300zx & i can find the j30's for a good price anywhere.

local junkyard has 3 j30's and wants $20 less than new for each axle (if i pull it out)
