You edited your post.....don't act so dumb. A stock TT and a stock Z28 are dead even and the winner will depend on the driver. Even adjusting your original post doesn't hide the fact that you are wrong. It's sad when someone gives out bad advice - that's my point. You can will your car to beat a Z28 if you want to - but if the guy in the Z28 is better than you you're going to lose.

$4 grand and he's still NA?!? Thats like a $500 billion space shuttle powered by a wind up propeller. If he's losing to stock 3KGT VR-4's, tell him to take the parking brake off.
yeah, spent a grand just on rods, pistons and gaskets. The rest went into bolt ons, an ecu, ignition/fuel and a set of cams. Never took it to the track, but a few weeks ago he did go bumper to bumper w/ an S2000, so we figure it probably runs low 14's like the S2K. Either that or he's a crappy driver, but regardless, at best, he would be lucky to keep up with a stock VR-4 or SS considering they run high 13's, and he's not THAT bad...

you guys who are quoting times for the z and camaro should keep in mind that different sources will give you different results. I've seen the Z32 being quoted as running the quarter anywhere from 13.7- 14.4 seconds. Camaro times seem to be more consistent for whatever reason, usually 13.7-13.9.

Bottom line is that these two cars are obviously very evenly matched if you compare their fastest reported times or if you average out their highest and lowest reported times. A driver's match is what it would come down to.

But who really cares? Unlike the camaro (no offense to anyone who may own one), the Z has much more to offer than just a flashy E.T.

He said it perfectly.

This thread has turned to garbage (as I knew it was going to in the beginning), so this thread has been locked.
