300zx TT vs. Corvette 99' ???

Alrite i have a 300zx tt 93' 5-speed (stock) and my friend has a 99' corvette automatic (stock) (340hp he says) (sorry dont know much about corvettes) if we were to race him what mods would i have to do to my car to beat or tie it up with his car off the line and / or rolling start.I would like to know this before I blown out of the water ya know?

I think roughly 400 hp should be enough to take him going by power to weight ratio. The Vette weighs a bit less which will make a slight difference but the 400 hp should be enough to totally beat him. Also depends on how good of a driver you are, launching and shifting wise.

I think the stock vette runs aboout a 13.3 in the quarter? and the stock TT runs 13.9? the stage 3 should put you well into the 12'sintake, exhaust, boostjets and ECU
