Hello, I'm new to info and I am in need of some help!
About three months ago I had a shop rebuild my zed.
A lot of upgrades but the main things are gt 525 turbos, nismo 740cc injectors, Z1 ecu and chip, bigger side mounts, airomotive fpr, dual sillen intake with mad translator, bored .020 over, PVC delete with oil catch can, egr delete, and ported intake/exhaust. all parts came from Z1 motorsports. The car has 156,000 miles. The engine has 2,000. I'm running 15 psi of boost. Compression is at 144 psi according to my mechanic. I though it was supposed to be near 174? It smokes light blue randomly at idle and sometimes cuts out on me driving down the rod. Everything is new or reconditioned mechanical wise. I have been fighting this for about 3 months. My mechanic doesn't know what to do with it and I'm in college right now for auto mechanics so I have no time to work on it myself. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!

blue and light blue is oil so either the turbos, piston rings or valve seals my friend... hate to say it. if it were black it would be fuel and i could say maf or the selin but not the case.... maybe your mech isnt up to par idk? cant say and im not going to start bashing small shops. where abouts are you located and can you do a few test your self since you are in mech school? IE come test, fuel press leak down etc...

Thanks for the fast reply! I'm located in French lick Indiana.
The car is at the shop right now but he says he can't do anymore
So I can pick it up this weekend. My electronic fuel pressure gauge tells me
It doesn't hold pressure when primed but the mechanic tested it
With a mechanical gauge and he got a different reading. No loss
Of pressure is what he said. not sure what tests I will
be able to perform at my school. I'm going to lincoln tech in
Indianapolis.
