I was wondering if there would be any interest if I made keys using a local machine shop, grade 2 titanium, and would use my key for the design. Reason I'm thinking about this is my key is getting worn and of course to do it for one is like $400 - $500 but if I can sell several say for $50 each, ok. So, just checking if there would interest.

I doubt that there's gonna be much interest at that price. I mean sure it's Titanium, but for less than $20 a regular blank key can be found on fleabay 1990-1996 Nissan 300ZX Uncut Blank Master Ignition Door Key OEM NEW

Ya if you want one of the black keys but this is about wanting a Titanium key just because. $50 for a key that's cool and is for your sports car that's approx 25 years old and can still light'm up in 3rd I'd do it. But when I see a couple guys asking $400 for their Nissan blanks I'm thinking there has to be a better way. If not enough interest that's ok, I'm just checking.

I'm sorry but for $400 those things should at the very least be gold plated. Honesty, I'd be surprised if anyone's actually ponied up that much money for one of those keys.

I get where your coming from (and this is strictly my opinion), but unless your planning on wearing it as bling, the key is gonna either be in your pocket or in the ignition, so that'd be a hard pass for me. There is a member already making these and selling them much cheaper than $50 ea. Have a look around.

Yes GZA (aruba Dave)makes replicas of the original Ti keys. Has been discontinued for a few years now.

Cool, so I got 1 interested. Estimates I got it would cost me about 500 -800 to get it done so I'll need around 10 - 15 interested.
