I was driving to work today and half way there I heard an extremely loud metalic grinding sound that seemed to be coming from the left side of the engine bay, behind the steering wheel. Under acceleration the sound ceased, but when my foot left the gas It would start screaming again, like when slowing down or at stops it's a constant. I wasn't losing power I didn't notice anything until I turned the music down. When I got to work I popped the hood to check the engine, and there were no leaks nothing was apparently wrong. no birds no cats nothing. Please doc, my baby's sick.
