300zx swap!

ive come across a nissan 300zx n/a engine and i was wondering if swapping that into my 240 is possible and fairly easy to do??? please help i need an engine in my 240 ASAP!! or does ne one have a ka CHEAP!!!

z31 or z32? The VG30E only has 160hp. The VG30DE is somewhere around 200hp, less than an SR20DET. If your gonna put a VG30 in a 240, dont go for anything less than a twin-turbo. Otherwise it would probably be cheaper to get an SR or turbo your KA.

th vg30de had 227 in z32 trim i do beleive, either 222 or 227 but mroe then a stock sr i know that for certain

The z31 had the VG30E(T). The na had 160 hp, and the turbo had around 200-205 depending on the year.

I have two friends that are z31 fanatics. The turbo z31 will beat a 240, but I beat an na z31 in my stock 91 240. The z31 weighs around 3200 pounds. I was wrong about the z32 horsepower, but I know I was correct about the z31 horsepower.
