But im also thinking about getting coilovers
will these fit

If I cant use the springs with stock shocks what would be a good brand that would work with the springs.
im sure the coilovers would work right?

Youll need the full 300zx suspension struts and springs. Z springs are much smaller and will not seat on a G50 strut. You need 300zx struts, and S14 rear tophats all around to make it work. Not sure how it will go with aftermarket lowering springs on top of that but I dont think youll need them. The Z stock spring/ strut is pretty low and lowering springs may not ride so well with all the extra weight. Def let us know if you try it though cuz that would be an easy, inexpensive way to go super low. I'd also look into some upgraded tension rod bushings as well to tighten up the steering and reduce body roll. Just did this on my car with custom springs, it will vibrate a little but makes a HUGE difference taking corners.

If you go that low on a Q45 be prepared to bottom out a lot and drive very carefully. With such a big car going that low things like speed bumps become a big challenge for sure.

I get that there are so few ways to get any older Q lowered, I finally did coil overs which are spendy and make the car uber stiff, but they work well. I was also able to get my car a little higher than lowering springs which helps to keep the cat converters from hitting the tops of speed bumps, but my Nissan Xterra is now my bumps and grinds car so the Q is in the clear for flat driving days.
