I've been taking a look at a complete 300zx brake system. I'm trying to save some cash by taking the least amount of parts from the car.

What I want to know, is if the front rotors are identical to q45 rotors. the reason being is because im currently running the q45 brake setup with a z32 master cylinder.

otherwise, does $340 seem like a good deal for everything? (all 4 brake calipers, rotors, rear knuckles, rear lower control arms, and e-brake)

thanks for the advice boys.

Since some Q45 guys have "upgraded" to Z32 brakes, I'd say the rotors are not the same. I believe the Z32 are wider and bigger. Hunt down some posts in the Q45 sub-forum by Wes (elwesso) it should have all the details.

got it. the reason i asked in the first place was because i read somewhere they were at least the same diameter. i didnt take rotor thickness into account.

okay so i researched and according to importnut.com's z32 brake article, the q45 shares the same diameter of z brake rotos, but the thickness is 28mm, which is inbetween z thicknesses.

thanks!
