Ok i searched but i'm still a little confused.Hopefully someone can help me out.
I'm going to buy the rear uprights from an NA 300zx. I will need to change my strut to accomodate the different mounting style on the z32 hub, correct? What i need to know is if the rear struts from a 300zx can be used with my stock or aftermarket s13 springs? Do i need to use a 240sx mount or will the z32 mount fit my 240sx. Or better yet can i just grab the entire rear strut with the 300zx spring and mount and will it bolt in to my car provided i'm using the 300zx uprights?

yeah, you're right, the bottom mount is different. i'm not sure about the top mount but it doesn't matter because you have to use the s13 shocks and springs. i'm pretty sure the Z32 shocks are longer like the S14 parts. i've heard most people just cut off the mount from a Z32 and weld it on their shocks. there are some coilovers that have screw on mounts that can be changed if you want to go that route. i don't know what they are so don't ask. let us know what you find because i want to do the same thing.

According to a zilvia member, the z32 rear shocks swap right in on an s13.
I haven't seen this myself, so I am a little bit skeptical, but he insists that it is true.
If you do a search in the zilvia tech section for z32 uprights, you should be able to find the thread where he said that.
