At first the car would start up, and drive not even a mile, before it would start to backfire, causing me to pull over and the car would then shut off. Afterwards for whatever reason it would not start, but trying it a few day later, it would start right up and cut off in about 7 secs. I tested it with my buddy and while reving the car it wouldnt cut off but once i was idling again it would cut back off again.
Note: Friend swears its the fuel pump, but others have no idea what it is or the steer me in another direction. The car has also sit for a little bit.

ECU codes would be helpful. Doubt it's the fuel pump if it's alive while revving. Usually the other way around. Sounds more like an IACV issue to me.

We tested the codes and nothing came up. Someone said same thing happen to him from missfire in two cylinders, and someone ahs said that it sounded like it was missing in two cylinders. Buddy said spark plugs and wires would fix that but idk, prob got more then what i can handle. Just really want her running.

These don't have spark plug wires in the way that your buddy means. You can try doing a power balance test, in which you pull coil pack connectors one at a time to see where the problem is, if it sounds like a missing cylinder. I'd personally get it to a mechanic if you can't figure it out on your own and ECU comes up with nothing. I don't mean that in an offensive way, but not everyone knows how these cars work. They're a lot more difficult than most to troubleshoot, and without the right terminology and symptom description, we can't help very well. Could be a failed injector, bad coil pack, IACV, or any number of other things, and they all have similar, yet very different symptoms.
