300zx power

i have a 1990 300zx na i feel like my 300zx lost power when i get off first gear i put the pedal to the metal and it takes a couple second for the rpms to go up also i shift at about 3-3500 rpms each gear because the car sounds like if im accelerating it to much like if it was at 6000 or more rpms? can this be a compression problem?i checked vacum hoses all good relocated denotation sensor got new injectors, gas mileage is good,starts no problem,code 55 on ecu? ohh also the clutch wont release until the pedal is almost all the way out?how do i adjust it and could this be the problem? thank you guys

stop granny shifting, rev it up to 5-6000 and you'll be in the power band of the next gear, of course this will use more gas

update
timming belt jumped 2 teeth on crank causing power loss wierd thing is that it still had power and would turn on no problem i have a differnet engine in it now:)
